Placement of switches by sink

I plan to add a prep / coffee bar sink in my kitchen. It is going to be very close to the current light switch. I can't find anything in the code that talks about the minium distace required from a kitchen sink to a switch.

Is there any minium distance required or other special precautions necessary (i.e. do I need to make sure the lights are on a GF breaker?)

I am going to close up a few walls this week hence the reason I have had to come to decisions about thing like where and what conduit to run and where to place switches.

Thanks again everyone. It is very cold today in Wisconsin, I have a ton of leaves still out in my yard, I better get back out there and keep cleaning them up - The snow is comming.

404.4 is the article your looking for, a sink is not a wet location, so the switches can be right above the sink if you want, no gfci protection required.

I agree with Chris, no issue with locating a switch over a sink.
