Photo Electric Switch

There's a switch inside my garage that operates two outside lights on either side of my garage door. I've been in the house a 10 years and for some unknown reason I've gone through at least four automatic timers. I would like to try a photo electric switch in this location, but in order for it to work, I would need a switch that has the photo eye on a lead so that I could extend it to the adjacent window sill, which is about 18 inches away from the junction box where the switch would be installed. I've search the internet for such a product but can't seem to locate any. Does anyone know if something like this exists?

Thanks,
Goose

Photo Electric Switch

You can get photo cell sockets, that screws into the fixture under the light bulb. No extra wiring and it works better.
