Permanently Bypass Motion Sensor Light

I have a motion sensor in my garage for a multi-switch light. I want to permanently bypass the motion sensor. The motion sensor is a Zenith SL-5403. It has a black, red, and white wire connected into the wiring for the lights. The black wire becomes energized when the light switch is turned on. While the motion sensor is active, the red wire is energized. I believe the white wire is a neutral. Can I just disconnect the wiring of the motion sensor and connect the wires from where the black and red wires were connected to each other?

The black is power in from switch, when motio is detected the power goes to red which is connected to the lights.
You can cut the red and cap it. Than feed the light wires directly to the black wire. When switch is turned on the lights will come on.
