Question

pendent lights

I would like to add two or three pendent lights in my kitchen over my island. Can I tie them in to the run of other lights or do I need to start from scratch at the electrical panel?

If there is reserve capacity on the circuit you can add new lighting to it.

If this circuit is not heavy loaded then you can do that and you can start at the switch box as long you have good power source there ( hot et netural ) and have plenty room in the switch box otherwise you will have to add a extra gang on the switch box.

If you want the pendents luminarie to be tied the main luminaires you can do that as well so you have either way to do this.

Merci,
Marc
