Outside Outlets Won't Work

Hello readers. I am an idiot, and while I was using my electrical hedge trimmer, I accidentally got the wire caught in the hedge trimmer. I immediately turned the trimmer off when i saw sparks, but now none of the outdoor outlets work. I have tried flipping all the breakers, including the main, and nothing seems to be working. My guess is that the incident caused a power surge. Any other suggestions? Or is an electrician necessary?

If nome of the breakers has a push button (gfi breaker)---Look the house over---the outside outlets are likely wire into a gfci outlet.

Believe me you are not the only idiot around for cutting the cord, my dad always said watch out for the cord, well I did and cut it every time I cut the hedges. Guess what? That's one job I got out of but still had many others. Look for GFI breaker or outlet somewhere that needs to be reset.
