outside outlet

I would like to put a new outside outlet on my house. I have two allready, one on the north side and one on the south side, but I would like to put one on the west side. Would this be hard to do? The west side of the house is where my power comes in, so the breaker box is right there. Could I add a new circuit breaker, cut a hole in the wall, and add the new outlet?

Yes. With the box right there, it shoud be fairly simple.

Outlet must be GFCI protected, either GFCI receptacle or breaker.

Weatherproof cover. If you might be leaving something plugged in, use an "In use" or "Bubble" cover.

Before you cut any holes it the wall, check inside very carefully. Cutting into wires, pipes, etc. is considered bad form!

thank you, I would be using it for some low voltage lighting.

You will want to use a bubble type cover, it is made to close over the outlet with something plugged in.
