outside light
 

i have an outside light when switched on makes the down stairs light in the hallway come on but does not light up outside it is not on the same light switch as the hallway it is on with the living room switch i have checked the wiring and it is looped from the living room switch to the outside light switch can anyone help me please !!!

When did this problem start happening? Were you doing any electrical work at the time, or did this suddenly start on it's own?
