Default outlet in closet ceiling?

I'm assuming this is probably fine, but I figured I would ask. I want to install an outlet into the ceiling of my hall coat closet. Is there any code stating that, or other reason, that this is not allowed?

I can't find anthing that says you can't .We sometimes put outlets in closets for security equip.
