outdoor surface mounted electrical box


Hi again we really enjoy all this info.....we have an issue of our own though..we have a new sunroom that has a surface mounted electrical box for the lighting..cannot find any fixtures that have small enough backplates to fit all will be overlapping sides and top of backplate is there some kind of adapter plate to cover open area behind backplate???

Without a picture of what you have hard to let you know how to fix it.
Is this a vinyl siding siding block?
Lowes and Home Depot have simple to install backing plates that set right over what you most likly have now for larger lights like that.
Just remove the trim ring and the new cover slips right in the same place.
