outdoor Receptacle requirements

Can you put 30A/120v receptacle outside the building? If so, what are the requirements?
Does it have to be GFI? or can we use a seperate GFI breaker?
or locable switch?

You can, and it does not have to be GFI unless you want to. A GFI breaker would be the only way since a 30A GFI receptacle does not exist.

Is this going to be used with the RV ??

If so you will need two gang weatherproof box due the recetpale is bigger than the standard size recetpales are.

They are simauir to dryer but the blade format is not the same

Here the photo what it look like.

That will give you the idea what the RV common receptale look like.

You can see the size of the device so you can use one gang but will be hard to find a cover to fit the opening otherwise the two gang weather proof device will have a opening to fit it.

Merci.
