This is why I shouldn't have found an electrician on craigslist...haha. But I have a friend coming over tonight to help me correct the situation and map everything out. Thanks again.

Yea....I saw that.....Seeing how the ground is tied to the neutral bus as the box (or should be), yea, it will work.....but it's a hack.
