Ordered a 150amp. They sent a 200
I ordered a BR3030B15 150amp indoor panel with a main from Lowes for a sub panel in my garage. They sent a BR3040 B200V panel with a 200a main. It will be protected at the main panel by my meter with a 150a breaker.
Should I keep it, or send it back for the 150? This is a permit job so the AHJ will have to see it. |

Since this is a sub protected by the 150 amp main, the 200 amp is fine as it is only a disconnect.

Kind of odd. The 200a is $111 online. The 15a is $130. They charged me for the 150. Guess they owe me $19.

I would also keep it. It is a 30 space 40 circuit panel by the looks of the model number. And should be able to accept tandem breakers. Not worth the hassle to send back.

Keep it but get a refund on the difference. 200's are probably much more popular so the price is lower.

Turned out nice. I called customer service and the guy in the electrical dept called me back. I asked for the $19 difference and he offered that plus $20 for my trouble. Wow, a 200 amp main panel and 10 breakers for $91. Works for me.
