Ontario code

Hi all
I have the 2009 Ontario Codebook with some updates. However, I seem to think I read somewhere that ESA now requires 2 way switches to be wired with 3 wire (leaving the neutral dead in the switch box and running back to the fixture with red) rather than the old way of coloring the white black on a 2 wire. Am I right on this change? If not, how would an inspector react to it being wired that s way?

Thanks for the reply joed. I had the inspector here today and asked him about it. He said it's good practice if a circuit needs to be extended beyond the last switch in a run, and some dimmers, timers etc need a neutral to work. I completely neglected to ask if it was code or not. I will ask him next time. Thanks.
