Online access of NEC?

I used to go to NFPA.org - but it looks like you have to be a paid member now to access it. Is there anywhere else to go for access?

The're into selling code books. I'm not aware of any means of viewing the code online. You can get the NEC on CD, but as I recall the book is cheaper.
Libraries always have a copy. The local municipality is also required to keep a set of adopted codes on hand for the sole purpose of the public's access to them.

Click on new visitor. Get a free password using a junk mail e-mail addy you use for things like this, then get access to the 2005 or 2008 NEC.

The links take you to a site where you can see the contents, but that's pretty much all you get for free... at least that's what I got.

There's a sequence of clicks that do take you to a complete version of the NEC, with a concise index to take you right where you want to go.

The log-in thing is new, but after you sign up it does work.
