I ran a job at the phone company's central switching station that had been pretty much gutted by fire. The fire inspector concluded after the investigation that a cable tray that had been accumulating phone wires to a depth of five feet was the point of origin of the fire. He said the pressure from the weight of the wires was so great at the bottom there was zero heat dissipation. A lot of "experts" were surprised low voltage could start a fire.

judging from the bamboo ladder, I'm guessing that is somewhere in Asia, despite the sign in the background.

That company is based in India....and I suspect that wiring is "state of the art" there...and that guy up the ladder is no doubt tech support for HP....at his normal workstation.

After seeing the first pic it reminds me that we take a lot for granted in our blessed nation.
