Old UF cable for ground

Detached garage with two old unused 3 wire 10 gauge no ground UF cables to house in same conduit. Would like to use one for 240V hot and common and the other for ground. Is it OK to tie all three wires together and label it has ground? Will be used for 5 amp grid tie solar inverter line. Plan on using additional ground rod with 6 gauge solar module ground on garage.

All conductors of circuit are required to be in the same cable, conduit or raceway. The answer is no.

The conductors are also too small to be paralleled.

Agreed. And can't be re-identified.
