old rotary phones

I have a couple of the old rotary black desktop phones. Remember the ones that weigh like ten pounds.

These have three wire cables, red, yellow and green. Does anyone know how i can use these cool old phones with my modern, (cat5), modular phone wiring? Thanks

A basic phone only utilizes the RED and GREEN wires, the other two are for a 2nd phone line if you had it. Match RED/GREEN to your rotary, it should work. Polarity doesn't matter on rotary phones I believe.
