Old fuse boxes

Does anyone know what the colour codes on old fuse boxes mean in Amps and therefore fuse-wire? Mine has 3 banks of 2. 2 White, 2 Blue and 2 Red.

Old fuse boxes

Hi bud

The U.K has the following colour coding for fuses

White = 5 Amps

Blue = 15 Amps

Yellow = 20 Amps

Red = 30 Amps

Green = 45 Amps

I take it that the fuse box you are refering to is an old rewire able board Bs 3036.
You want to upgrade it at some point bud,its very tired

Regards

Chris
