Odd Thermostat set-up, help needed

Hello Everyone,

I wondered if someone could help. I bought a new programmable thermostat (White Rodgers 150) and it has terminals for G, Y, O, W, B and a jumpered RH and RC.

However, my old Carrier one had wires hooked up to W2, Y, R, G, L, C, and E.

Would anyone have any clue how to re-connect?
Thanks.

Is your unit a heat pump?

What color are the wires you plan to connect to the thermostat?
Also, do you have the manual that came with the unit? You may find your answer there.
A call to the new thermostat dealer/manufacturer may be able to tell you. How about the instruction manual that you got. It has a wiring diagram.
Google the thermostat. You may find help there too.
