odd outdoor lighting situation
At my house that we moved into 10 months ago and have been renovating, there was a small addition put at the front door of the house, but they didn't put an external lighting fixture on it. So we want to get some light there. There's a walkway from the driveway to the front door that's about 15 feet long.
There is an external electrical outlet about 15 feet from the front door over by the garage, so I thought at the least we could use some landscape lighting. Will landscape lighting be adequate?
Or can I hijack that for an external light fixture?
Otherwise I am going to have to find some way to run romex out of the house, preferably involving a switch. But it will not be easy at all based on how it's set up.
I was thinking of a battery powered LED light maybe.
Any other ideas?
