Number of wires into a single hole

I am replacing the wire seen in the link below.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/93135998@N03/

I would like to run two wires through that same hole to add another ceiling light to the bedroom. The plan is to put a 14/2 wire and 14/3 (replacement) into that same hole (as seen in picture 2). 14/3 to ceiling fan, 14/2 to track lighting above bed.

Is this an okay plan according to code? Thanks in advance for any help.

In less time than it took to write and post this Q...
you could have drilled a second small hole.
Try that.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, but that does not answer my question. Does anyone else know?

I would use a piece of flexible conduit to protect the wire from getting chewed again.

According to his other post, he hit it with a drill.
