I bought a 1970's house and everything is great. Learning lots on plumbing, now going to try electrical.

The power outlet, lights and fan in the hallway bathroom do not have power going to them. Also the Hallway Light and the master bedroom lights. The power outlets in the master bedroom still work. No breakers were tripped at the time the lights went out.

I had an electritian in training take a look and they said it looked like animals chewed the wires. They later changed their mind to lack of oxidization agents on the alunimum connections.

No animals have chewed on the wall wires.

Any help or ideas would be good. Thank you.

Is this house wired with aluminum or copper?

Yes, you could have a bad breaker. If you turn off breakers one at a time, mark them based on what goes off. I am no expert but I have seen breaker look like it was on, but was tripped.
