My power cord fell into the pool yesterday and killed all power from the point where it was plugged in. No circuit switches tripped at the main box. Help!! Thanks Nancy
You need to check each breaker.
They should be labeled in the panel for whre thy go.
If a breaker tripped, it will trip to the mid point and at a glance not looked tripped.
They need to be truned off and then back on to reset.
If you can't find a tripped breaker, the we need more details of the wiring and connections to find the answer.

you need to manually turn off each breaker and then turn it back on.
then, you need to get some sort of voltage detector or meter or tester so you can troubleshoot your problem. You could have a bad connection in the wiring or a bad breaker or myriad other problems. Jumping to a bad motor or rewiring the barn is not generally the first step.
I did manually flip each switch. I have a voltage regulator but dont know how it works. It has 2 probes. Is it something I can check or is it time to call an electrician. Thanks for your help
Call an electrician. Your comments scream professional help required.
