no power to pool

We had a huge storm earlier in the week and now there is no power to my pool. The pump and filter will not turn on. We tried to reset the breaker but it did not help. I really dont want to have to call someone to look at it . Anyone have any ideas. Please help.

Did you try to reset the GFCI breaker or GFCI receptale there should be a reset or test switch to test it.

If you have the GFCI breaker turn the handle all the way to off postion and push little more than normal so it can latch on and turn it back on if that do not work either GFCI breaker or GFCI receptale is toasted if you have power surge that useally kill them.

Merci,
Marc
