The illuminated small indicator light on your receptacle might mean that the GFCI is tripped. Try resetting the receptacle.

So, if I read your question correctly, you have both a GFCI breaker and GFCI receptacle, on the same circuit?

It could possibly be a bad gfi receptacle. Also you said you put in a gfi receptacle. How did you wire it? You should have wired it to the line side. Also did you run anything else off of the receptacle? Most likely you are using a leviton and the greenlight means the receptacle has power. Also if you are using a gfi breaker there is no need for a gfi receptacle. That was the whole point of the breaker. But now you need to go to the panel eveytime you want to reset. I would go with a regular break Afci breaker and put in a gfi outlet.

My GFCI outlets light up an amber light when they have tripped and light up nothing when reset.

Did you wire the breaker correctley?
The neutral from the circuit wires to the breaker, and the white wire on the breaker wires to the neutral bar in the panel.

thanks,I just used a `regular tamper proof outlet with the gfi breaker.Seem the breaker and the gfi outlet was a little to much.
