Newbie needing to know about Scart connections...
Hey there,
Need some info on the titled and thought this site best to get them... Didn't fancy the risk of electrifying my brain to get the answers so my question is... a scart, like on the back of a vcr, tv, stereo etc. Does any of the pins output power?? Thanks in advance... |

This link may be helpful; http://www.selkirkshire.demon.co.uk/...sat/scart.html From what I have found on the internet, you can expect to find a maximum of 35 VAC (volts A.C.) on varying SCART plugs/cables. Generally, 50 volts A.C. (RMS) or less is considered 'safe'. That is, these voltages will allow a faster 'let go' time if you managed to become in contact with them. Still, play safe - assume that ALL electricity can kill you. |
