New Switch Installation Question-Grounding

I bought a new digital timer switch to replace an old standard switch. The old switch had a ground connection screw in which the grounding wire in the box was connect to. The new switch does not have a ground connection screw. What do I do with the ground wire in my box that used to connect to the old switch?

cap it off, tuck it in and make sure it doesn't short (circuit) anything.
