New stove switch doesn't have place for earth wire

I have bought a new switch for my stove, but there is no place to insert the earth wire.

The current switch has the earth attached to the metal casing of the switch. The new switch is plastic.

Can I just attach the earth to the switch housing in the wall or do I need to find a switch that allows for an earth connection?
