new light in bathroom

I remodeled one of our bathrooms and didnt think about needing to move the light wiring over cuz the sink moved over...any ideas besides cutting up the wall and trying to move the old box and wiring?
it's offset about 7-8 inches.

new light in bathroom

Get a strip light and punch a hole where the box is. The fixture must be the rated for connections inside. Generally, if the fixture has an opening (for the wires) and all four sides are covered, you should be fine.
