need instructions on replacing a Whirlpool refrigerator power cord please.

I've got a slight rat problem, and they managed to gnaw on my fridge power cable. So, what I would like to know is, which cord do I need to buy, and how would I go about installing it?

Quick reply appreciated, as there's bags of ice keeping things cool as we speak.

Thanks.

It's not rocket science.

Get some tools out and follow the cord. Take some screws off and find where/how the cord terminates. Go to the Home Depot and buy an appliance cord and replace it.

As a TEMP repair, unplug it, cut the damaged portion out, separate and strip the 3 wires contained in the cord and wire nut them together black/black, white/white/, green/green

As for the rats and/or mice, they LOVE oreo cookies. No foolin'.
Bait your traps with those, and it'll sound like Fred Astaire.
