I need to replace a circuit breaker in an old unmarked box. Only one breaker in the box is labeled, Westinghouse BR215. Been told by 3 people that a CH breaker will fit. Been told by dealers that they will not. Pics of CH confirm. Buss bar has "blades" that stick up about an inch that the breaker has to fit over - somehow. Old summer cottage that has been upgraded several times and box is hard to get to, so would like to get breaker before going into box.
The BR series will fit in this load centre I know it was older style Westinghouse type so the BR will fit without any issue.
Only fullsize breakers can fit in there do not use the twinner or dupex breaker due I can able tell the bussbar tabs they do not have centre notch at all so just don't grab the twinner at all.
Thanks to all who responded. Just decided to buy what looks possible, and try them out hoping one would fit. Have a Siemens and a BR to start with. Might be a while before I get to the doing.
