Need Help With Pendant Lights

My wife would like me to put together two hanging pendant lights. The problem is, she wants them wired together into one plug (not hard wired), and then swag it. In addition to this, she would like the wire to be twisted cloth covered wire.

So my question is, can I splice two pendant cloth wires into one? If so, how can I do this and make it look cosmetically appealing (to my wife) without electrical tape, or wire nuts?

You can't.
Pendent lights need a box to mount to, otherwise you need to buy hanging lamps, and you will not have a way to wire them to one plug.
