Need To Buy Rechargeable Batteries
 
i Want To Purchase Rechargeable Aa And Aaa,and I Was Wondering If Anybody Out There Had Any Experience With Using Them.i Bought Two Smoke/co Detectors And Both Use Aa.problem Is They Use Up The Batteries In A Very Short Span Of Time.like A Month,these Are Very Expensive Devices.no I Don't Need To Replace Them,i Like The Advance Notice Feature.one Alarm Sets Off Others.nothing Like Having Advance Warning,thanks For Any Advice.

NiMh with the most Ah (amp hours) you can find.
You MUST (!) use the correct charger for them. Do NOT use a NiCad charger.
Ebay has some good deals on quantity buys. I got 16 2250mAh "AA"s and an 8 slot charger for around $40.

Didn't Really Think About The Charger,i Have Two Ni-cad Chargers,i've Had Them For Years.but It Does Stand To Reason They Wouldn't Work On The Other Batteries

I do know for a fact that Sanyo and especially Panasonic NiMh batteries are premium quality. You will pay a premium price for them though.

Funny how this is a topic of rechargable batteries, and an advert for them magically appears at the top.
