Mystery Electrical Connector

So this is a picture of a random electrical connector that came up on another forum I follow on electric powered home brewing. Can anyone on here identify this connector? I've come up with nothing at all in Google-dom.

Mystery Electrical Connector

Looks like an old-style telephone jack, from 30+ years ago, before they went to the modular jack style. Isn't that a bell in the center?

Agree phone jack. It's not clear in that photo but I think there is even a bell image in the center.

Nice catch - if it had been a snake...

I'll do some more Googling on phone jacks!

If it's still wired in place, there should be four wires (red, green, yellow and black, I believe) on the back.
