Jag, this a good starting point, have you tried it yet? If the breaker trips with no connected load, the s0b hack electrican cut the wire somewhere else. If it trips, do not try resetting it twice! Report back with results. We can help you fix this, but you need to make sure this goes against his license.

Hey I just wanted to thank everyone for brainstorming and coming up with some great information.

I went back as you guys said to trouble shoot and it turns out the guy that did the wire cutting and stuffing put a staple in to hold the wire where it was to hide it and the staple he put in tore through the old wiring, so I replaced the wire and tested and and everything is working great.

Lets just hope there are no more suprises

I would Still cantact St.louis better business bureau File a complaint Let them know how Unhappy you are with him And Congratulations on the fix.
