Mounting Hardware For Fluorescent Lighting Fixture

Hello all,

Originally we had fluorescent lighting in our kitchen that uses a somewhat obsolete D9 spec fluorescent tubes, we went to HD and bought a brand new light fixture that had it's own ballast, we also bought some T8 tubes to go with the fixture.

I've never replaced the fluorescent light fixture before, and the new fixture requires to be hang on the ceiling using some sort of chain (which I also bought.) But it also says to mount those onto the ceiling, additional hardware is required. I don't really see any mounting hardware that's for sale at HD, What kind of hardware do I need to mount those chain to the ceiling to replace our old fluorescent fixture, which was mounted directly onto ceiling.

Our ceiling I believe is made of concrete.

Thanks for your help.

Got a picture of what was up there before?
How was the old one attached?
Most likly just some Tap Con screws with holes drilled with a masonry bit and a hammer drill will work fine.
