Most basic magnetic switch buzzer help ever.

So in my perfect world I would 2 Magnetic switches, long wires, and a 12VDC Piezo Buzzer. Connect the magnetic switches to the the piezo buzzer and viola! Door open, contact closed, buzzer goes off. Door closed, contact open, no buzzer.

I wish it were that simple... but unfortunately it's not. Can someone give me a run down of what I need to do (and purchase) here so I can get what I want to work properly. Note that I have just about 0 electrical experience, but this seems like a pretty simple task to do.

Summary
I want: Door open, buzzer sounds. Door closed, no buzzer. How do I do this quickly and cheaply.

Thanks
