mercury light wont work

after a very windy overnight, the mercury light on the pole outside wont work. current is there but five diffrent bulbs wont light up. what am i missing?

mercury light wont work

hard to say. maybe bad ballast; bad photocell; bad connection; bad ignitor. Without checking it, hard to say.

are you sure you have the proper lamp? what is printed on the lamp, both new and old.
