Making a new double socket


I am making a new socket in my kitchen and I am going to feed it off the single socket I am in the building trade but need a problem solved fast .
I have raggled the wall for the wire but what do I do now the wall is 7 - 10 mm deep with the living room on the other side please help for my next move

He's in Scotland so US wiring practices don't apply. Perhaps Marc will help when he logs on.
