Making locks wirless

I just put in a set of digital door locks in my office it has a connection for running a wired remote unlock switch for the secretary I know there is a way that you can make that so you dont have to run wire's for her switch any suggestion .
Thanks

Call the company that makes the locks you installed. I am sure there are wireless devices for locks as there are wireless devices for everything else.

Agreed. There may be a bit of reconfiguring, but if they make a wireless doorbell, they can do a wireless access system. Maybe.

We use some Linear products for situations like this. Bascially the same as a single chanel garage door opener.

Reciever would need a power supply near the door area and you'll still need to run cable from the reciever to the door lock via an electrified hinge or a door cord.

Unless its an unusual run, hard wires are a lot cheaper. But I would strongly suggest a cable with an overall shield and avoid flourescent lights when running the cable. They cause a lot of interference.

What make/model do you have?
