Main grounding electrode wire to panel
I'm finishing up installing my new panel and I have a question about the ground wires. I have a main ground wire from the water pipe, another from the new ground plate I installed as well as one from the gas line. Can these all be tied together with split bolts along the way or do they all have to terminate in the panel?
As for inside the panel, the Square-D one I have has one lug connection in the top section screwed to the back of the panel, and it also has a connection right beside the main service neutral. The note on the panel says something about "service ground connection if required" or something similar (I don't have it on hand). Can the ground from the water pipe connect to this, since the neutral and grounds are intermixed anyway? I can take a pic later if need be.
