Low Voltage Switches

Is there any reason i can't (or shouldn't) use a regular "houshold type light switch" to control 12v LED lights in my shed. Gonna throw a solar panel on the roof, a battery and controler inside, and wanted to wire up some LEDS inside. I was going to go buy a couple toggle switches, then it dawned on me that I have a bunch of 120v light switches and boxes, why not just use those. am i missing anything?

You can use a regular switch. You don't need anything special

If you do have a problem later on, it could be because the low LED current doesn't cause enough arcing to clean these 15A-rated-switch-contacts, as they are when switching normal household loads.
