Low voltage motion sensor

I'm trying to figure out how to wire a motion sensor into a 12 volt landscape lighting system. I believe red will go to one of the wires to the light fixture and white will go to the other wire from the light fixture, so where does the black go? Somewhere on the transformer?

Low voltage motion sensor

What kind of motion sensor? One intended to be powered by 120VAC? If so, then it probably won't work being powered by a 12V lighting system. Otherwise, please describe.

light fixture
??? What light fixture? I thought you were trying to use this with a landscape lighting system? Are you trying to use this motion sensor to control a single fixture of your landscape lighting system?
