low ceiling shower lights

I'm starting to wire the basement bath

I have a 6 foot ,4 pc walk in shower I'm going to install in the basement soon.

I would sure like to have a couple of lights in there but it would have to be

inside the space of a 2x4 ceiling ( I'm right under the furnace runs).

Also its only 6 foot 9 inches to the ceiling.

Maybe a low voltage light would work ??

Any ideas??

That's a tough one. Are you wanting something recessed in the 2x4 space? Or something that surface mounts?

Puck lights could be a possibility, but you'll need to find something rated for wet use.

Yes something that maybe mounts flush inside the space.

Don't really want to put in 2x6 as I would like all the headroom I can.

As it is the top side of the 2x4 would be 1 inch below the heat runs.

I plan to cement board and tile the ceiling.

I hate dark showers.

Bear with me a moment but I did recall someone did make a low profile horzontail bulb shower luminaire set up but I am not sure if they still making it now or not oh yeah .,, it is not a round glass format it will be square glass format but one of us should come up with an answer so hang on for a montment.

Merci.
