Lost power to half the room.

On the original switch, two of the blacks must have been connected to the same screw. One of those black is power in and the other is power to the dead receptacles.
Joed, It looks like green is spliced to a ground. If my eyes are right, where is the third black.? I see 3 white neutrals which means there should be 3 black hots of which the third should be pigtailed with the one going to the switch as you say. No?

Looks like the green is spliced to a black to me.

If it is connected to a ground then there is a black wire missing. I see three whites and some grounds (the two red wire nuts). The third black needs to connect to one of the other blacks.

The missing black is the power to the dead receptacles.
