Looking for a push button for garbage disposal

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can find a push button to use for my garbage disposal? Most of the time, garbage disposals are wired to a switch somewhere on the wall near the sink. I'd prefer just to have a small button to push that I can mount into the front side of my sink cabinet.

Ideally I'd like to push the button to turn it on and push to turn it off (instead of just holding it down to run). Does anyone know where I can find something like this?

Any decent electrical supply house will have a large selection of specialty switches---

I've looked at Lowes and Home Depot and didn't see any there. Is there anywhere I can order one online?

I live in an area with a lot of electrical supply houses--so I have never looked on line---

Look for an Air Switch for a disposal. Many Lowes and HD stores now carry these and they are available online from multiple sources.

Googled - "in sink erator push button switch"

I know have seen these near the Disposals at the big box stores.

Yea, I did come across that air switch on Google, but I can't justify paying $50-$100+ just for a simple button switch.

I assumed that a push button switch could be had for only a few bucks. Maybe I'm wrong.

Sorry, wasn't thinking price but showing technically they market push buttons for the disposals. ($46 bucks on Amazon) Paying for the fancy top mount trimmed out look.

but google "push button switches" and tons pop up...

My favorite (big emergency stop):

I think the technical term for what you want is "momentary contact switch."

Just make sure it's rated for the proper number of amps.

I'll try searching for that. I was finding lot's of push button switches, but they were all only rated for a small number or amps. I'll see what I can find by Googling that.

Can you post the link to it?

Here's a link to one on the internet...just like the one I have at home that I got at Menard's

http://www.lowpricefoodwastedisposer...free-shipping/

They look just like a light switch, but are momentary action...only closed when pressure is being applied.
