Load center to use

Having 100 amp service upgraded to 200 amp (box full).
Suggestions on brand/model panel to use? Current quote is for a Siemens G4040B1200CU and needed materials (~$1700). Seems reasonable to me but unsure about different brand box?

Is your current box Siemens?
Many people go with the same Mfg to re-use the breakers
Or the old main panel is then used as a sub
So the breakers can be used in either

I had Square D main, so most of what I have is Square D

Siemens is a decent brand. Mine are all Murray which are the same thing as they are made by Siemens. One advantage is most big box home improvment stores carry the breakers for them (at least around here).
