Load Center Generater Interlock in Cook County, IL

Has anyone had any experience using a load center interlock to connect a generator to your load center in Cook County, IL? I know they are UL listed and meet the NEC, but I am curios if county inspectors are OKing them since they can be defeated by removing the panel cover. http://www.nooutage.com/interlock_kits.htm

Talk to them first before you do anything with it and IMO they are very strict on this one and I don't think they will allow it in your area.

I know in couple spot in Northeast Wisconsin area they are not allow to use that as well due one inspector say if someone remove the panel cover and the interlock can get defeated real easy.

In France they will not touch it at all it have to be a true transfer switch with full interlock feature in there.

Merci.
Marc
