Likewise 24 Hour Programmable Timer to Plugin Outlet Help

I recently bought a digital timer, it is a Likwise 24 Hour Programmable Timer 600 W Incandescent, 5 A reisitive/inductive, 1/6 HP motor load, 120 V AC, 60 Hz

I want to set it up with my light which plugs in the wall so I was wondering if someone could give me a detailed description or a link with a detailed step by step video on how to set it up to a plugin outlet. I have no experience with this stuff but I am aware all work needs to be done with the power off and I pick up on things pretty quickly. All help is very much appreciated.
