Lights dimming

Call your power company---and unplug anything with a light up screen---or a motor

Sounds like an incoming line problem---

Lights dimming

All the lights throughout the house in unison, or just a few?

Have you checked the voltage at the breaker panel? Including hot to neutral for both (fat) feed wires?

Dimming is more pronounced with incandescent lights.

Is the service to your house overhead or underground? Underground aluminum conductors can corrode and fail fast if ground hogs or other causes resulted in breakage of the insulation and moisture getting inside.
